Actually, this post should be a post obout the 90s. It will! The intro is a bit different though. What happened during the past three weeks and what really makes my mind being busy at the moment has made me even have one thing to do: skipping this year’s Berlin fashion week. Yes, I won’t go to Berlin (unlike all the other bloggers and influencers) and won’t attend the shows. The real reason why I won’t go and what happened will be up in a post soon.
But now: back to the 90s!

Eigentlich sollte dieser Post ein Post über die 90er werden. Wird es auch! Das Intro ist aber ein bisschen ein anderes. Das, was die vergangenen drei Wochen passiert ist und das, was momentan mich sehr beschäftigt, hat mich soweit dazu gebracht, sogar eins zu tun: die diesjährige Berlin Fashionweek zu skippen. Ja, ich fahre (im Gegensatz zu gefühlt allen anderen Bloggern und Influencern) nicht nach Berlin und schaue mir nicht die Shows an. Warum kommt sicherlich noch in einem gesonderten Post.

When you decide to stake everything on one card, everybody seems to have an opinion about what you do, they either admire you or are startled. Admiration for your braveness to believe in yourself and your vision or astonishment for your naivité.

Wenn man sich entscheidet, alles auf eine Karte zu setzen, haben plötzlich alle eine Meinung dazu, es gibt Bewunderung oder Verwunderung. Bewunderung für den Mut, an sich selbst und seine Vision zu glauben, oder Verwunderung für die vermeintliche Naivität.

Inner walls x SCOTCH & SODA

scotch & soda sweater

These photos and this look should’ve went online last Sunday. Actually. I always try to tell a story in my outfit posts. Something, that gives it a deeper meaning than just telling you, why I combined that sweater with those pants and why a certain color is a must have right now. I want to talk about something that moves me. And maybe you too. But: I haven’t had really much to say. And I don’t want to post pictures just that they’re posted and write something, just that something’s written. I rather stay silent on here and on Instagram. The pressure is high: every day one pic on Instagram, blog posts and all those things that you can’t see – mails, phone calls, meetings. I just went off for a while and was thinking. And I found something I want to talk about. Today I want to talk about walls – a perfect topic for the location where I shot the look with my new Scotch & Soda sweater.

Diese Fotos sollten bereits vergangenen Sonntag online gehen. Eigentlich. Ich versuche in jedem meiner Outfitposts eine Geschichte zu erzählen. Etwas, was tiefer geht als die Farbigkeit meines Oberteils oder der Schnitt meiner Hose. Etwas, was mich bewegt. Und vielleicht auch euch. Aber: ich hatte nichts zu sagen. Irgendwie. Und bevor ich irgendetwas sage und die Bilder lieblos poste, sage ich lieber nichts. Und bin ruhig. Hier und auch auf Instagram. Doch der Druck ist da: jeden Tag ein Instagram-Bild, jede Woche Blogposts und dann noch die ganzen Sachen im Background! Mails, Telefonate, Treffen. Doch ich habe mich ausgeklinkt und nachgedacht. Und mir ist etwas eingefallen. Passend zu den Bildern mit dem Sweater von Scotch & Soda erzähle ich euch etwas über Mauern.

Happy Easter! Today I’ll show you a spring look that I’ve been dying to wear, because… finally chucks again, finally lighter jackets! Even if the temperatures are anything but t-shirt-compatible, I would like to inspire you with the look. Inspire you to wear more colors (that’s what I say as a confessed all-black lover) and more patterns! And let me introduce a new brand (on the blog) to you: COMME des GARÇONS.

Frohe Ostern! Heute kommt definitiv ein Frühlingslook, auf den ich schon lange gewartet habe zu tragen… endlich wieder Chucks, endlich wieder leichtere Jacken! Auch wenn die Temperaturen momentan alles andere als T-Shirt-tauglich sind, möchte ich euch mit dem Look inspirieren. Inspirieren zu: mehr Farbe (das sage ich als bekennender All Black-Liebhaber) und mehr Muster!
