322 Meter entfernt vom Südende des Central Parks liegt ein Hotel, welches bereits von außen wirklich imposant ist: das Park Central. Vor wenigen Wochen durfte ich einen Teil meines New York Aufenthalt dort verbringen. Ich bin normalerweise nicht so leicht zu beeindrucken, aber das Park Central hat es geschafft…

Hotel: The Time New York #LifeWellTimed

Arriving in New York City always feels a bit like coming home. It’s a special feeling I only experience there, somehow like seeing your lover after longer time. I’m not sure if I already can call it my second home, but hopefully one day it is. Until then it has a special place in my heart.

During my last stay in the greatest city ever I had the opportunity to stay at The Time Hotel New York, a true pearl in the concrete jungle. Located on 49th street and broadway, the boutique hotel is close to everything you should see in NYC. The first thing I noticed when I arrived there on a warm Wednesday afternoon: the design! You can see the love of details on every corner. Everything’s kind of matchy matchy and is looks well-thought-out and sophisticated. And guess which colors are used – my favorites: grey and gold.

Nach New York zukommen, fühlt sich für mich irgendwie ein Stückweit immer immer an, wie nach hause zukommen… wie wenn man eine Fernbeziehung führt und die andere Person nach Wochen, Monaten wiedersieht.

Während meines letztens NYC Aufenthalts hatte ich die Möglichkeit im fantastischen Time Hotel New York zu bleiben. Direkt am Broadway und der 49. Straße, befindet sich das Boutique-Hotel mitten im Concrete Jungle, Midtown Manhattan. Das erste, was mir in’s Auge gestochen ist als ich an einem warmen April-Nachmittag ankam: DESIGN! Das Hotel ist bis in’s kleinste Detail designt und durchdacht. Nichts wirkt wie dem Zufall überlassen – im Gegenteil: alles ist irgendwie matchy matchy, wahnsinnig sophisticated und zufälligerweise noch in meinen Lieblingsfarben: grau und gold!

GOODBYE, MUNICH. GOODBYE, GERMANY.

I’ve been teasing for weeks now – whether it was here or on Instagram –, but now it’s time to tell you the secret. After weeks full of planning, packing, organizing, etc. it’s time to leave and I have to admit: I’m nervous! Nervous, because I’ll do it all by myself and it’s a longer time and I don’t know what’s expecting me there in this whole month. Of course I’ve already planned a million things (I really can’t wait to tell you – sheesh! I’m such a tease! ;)) and it isn’t my first time there, but it’s so exciting. And new. And fabulous. I’m going to:

Lange habe ich es ja auf Instagram und auch hier geteasert, nun lüfte ich endlich das Geheimnis. Nach Wochen des Planens, Packens, Organisierens, etc. ist es soweit und ich muss schon ein klein wenig zugeben: ich bin nervös! Nervös, weil ich ganz alleine weg gehe, weil es einen Monat ist und weil ich nicht weiß, was mich alles erwartet. Natürlich habe ich einiges geplant (ich freue mich schon, es mit euch zu teilen), einiges ausgemacht und es ist nicht das erste mal, dass ich dort bin. Aber: es ist aufregend. Und neu. Und fabelhaft. Es geht nach:
