Life Update w/ Fraas

It’s been quite a while since I’ve written a life update on here. Why? Things change so quickly, that when I wrote something and want to publish it, it’s already not current anymore. But now I can tell you about one thing, that won’t change: From July on I won’t be in Munich anymore. I guess you already know that Munich is not my favorite place anymore and I’m just sick of the city, its people and the mentality. Thanks to my job (and you!) I habe the possibility to work from anywhere I want to, so I decided to leave Munich behind and focus on my future – in a new city. 🙂 I’ll tell you more about it, when it’s happening, but it’s less than two weeks away and I’m super excited! I know I’m a tease! But what’s coming… blows my mind and I know it will blow yours! 🙂 So follow me on Instagram and come with me on my big journey… it’s worth it, I promise!!!
One thing I can tell you now is that I’ll take the beautiful scarves by Fraas with me.

Event: Suntory Whisky Toki Launch #ItsTokiTime

歳月人を待たず – Time waits for no one.

That’s a Japanese saying. It means: try new things and do them now since time’s flying! What are you waiting for? Get to know foreign cultures, new cuisine and exotic countries. Or — like me — the new whisky of the Japanese traditional house Suntory, which not only combines everything mentioned before, but even refers to the topic time, since Toki, the name of the new whisky, is Japanese for the word time. Recently, the new Suntory Whisky Toki was introduced to a selected group of journalists and bloggers in one of Munich’s finest restaurants called Koi.

So lautet ein japanisches Sprichwort. Bedeutet: probiere neue Dinge und tue sie jetzt, denn die Zeit vergeht so schnell. Also los! Fremde Kulturen kennenlernen, neue Kulinarik und Länder. Oder — wie ich — den neuen Whisky des japanischen Traditionshauses Suntory, der nicht nur irgendwie alles zuvor genannte verbindet, sondern welcher mit dem Namen Toki, japanisch für Zeit, genau noch auf diese anspielt. Vorab fand nun im Münchner Koi Restaurant das Launch-Event statt, bei dem der Premium Whisky vorgestellt wurde.

Today I have another fragrance review! As the temperatures rise and we unpack our spring and summer wardrobe (sad for all those who love the autumn / winter fashion as much as I do), we also want a change when it comes to fragrances. Sure, our favorite colognes remain, but a touch of freshness and lightness is now t h e thing we want. My L’Homme Ideal by Guerlain remains as well as the Armani Code Ultimate. But my favorite in summer is another classic: CK One by Calvin Klein!

Heute kommt mal wieder eine Duftempfehlung! Wenn die Temperaturen steigen und wir unsere Frühlings- und Sommer-Garderobe wieder auspacken (zum Leid all derjenigen, die die Herbst-/Winter-Mode so sehr lieben wie ich), wollen wir auch eine Veränderung bei unseren Düften. Klar – unsere Lieblingsdüfte bleiben, aber ein Hauch von Frische und Leichtigkeit ist jetzt genau das Richtige. L’Homme Ideal von Guerlain bleibt, genauso wie das Armani Code Utlimate.
