For more than six months I’ve been working on my own now. No boss, no place I have to go to. Even though this is pretty cool, you have to be very motivated and have a lot of discipline to let your business run. There are still those things called deadlines that need to be met. But you don’t have a fixed schedule were you have to work. You can work anytime you want – an experience of freedom, but for people like me – last minute is my time to shine – it isn’t always that easy. But I have to commit: when it comes to blogging and my business, I really have lots of discipline and always meet the deadlines and never miss appointments. If you ask my lecturers at university… well don’t. 😉 Since I can work whenever and wherever I want, I’m very flexibel and mobile and I can use my time more effectively. My notebook is always with me and my iPhone is almost glued to my hands.
Seit gut einem halben Jahr bin ich nun selbstständig. Und während es einerseits eine große Erleichterung ist und Flexibilität mit sich bringt, muss die Eigenmotivation und Disziplin nun bei weitem größer sein. Dadurch dass es natürlich trotzdem Deadlines einzuhalten gilt, aber eben keine geregelten Arbeitszeiten hat, ist es für Last Minute Typen wie mich oftmals nicht ganz so einfach. Gerade in der Vorweihnachtszeit reihte sich nun Deadline an Deadline und Stress war vorprogrammiert. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass ich gerade beim Bloggen disziplinierter bin als ich je zu vor war. Deadlines sind hier für mich kein Problem, aber fragt mal meine Dozenten an der Uni…. 😉 Dadurch, dass ich arbeiten kann, wie und wo ich möchte, bin ich äußerst flexibel und mobil und somit auch viel effektiver. Mein Laptop ist mein ständiger Begleiter und mein iPhone ist praktisch mit meiner Hand verwachsen.
