#CoffeeNeedsNoDresscode – #KaffeebrauchtkeinenDresscode
Deadlines, events and co. – in the summer there is always lots of work! Not only are in July and August all of my university deadlines pending, there are tons of events and there is so much blogger work to do. In addition, I am always planning for my longer trips to New York City, and so everything is somehow in the short period of summer. Most of the time things get a bit quieter here, since most of the work takes place in the background, but it’s still stressful – believe it or not! But I can not complain …
________________me-time
Despite all the stress – even though it is positive (except the university one of course ;)) – one thing should not be never ever neglected: it’s the me-time. It’s just the time that you probably do not show on social media, of which there is no snap on InstaStories or even an announcement about doing it, because the phone is just put away. And it also usually takes place quite unglamorous and private – you don’t see that, of course. But here is (exceptionally) a glimpse into my personal me-time …
I can only relax when I’m offline. Therefore – mobile away, laptop too! Since my job is all about being online and available, it’s really necessary for me to stay some time offline. The best way to do it for me is the oldschool way with a book. And I do not mean an e-reader, but a very classic one, because somehow I like the smell of the pages. In addition, I find it quite good to be far away from the electronics and to be aware of the moment again, because especially in our fast-moving time, we often forget the moment and what we really feel and think and see everything on the screen or through the camera. Especially someone like me, who browses thanks to my job social media and co. all day. What I should never miss during my little break next to a book and comfortable clothes: coffee! Even though I consume tons of coffee in work mode, it still belongs to me-time for me. Preferably everything with flavor! My favorite since almost forever is the Latte Macchiato Vanilla by NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto. Funnily, NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto has launched a campaign called “Coffee needs no dress code”, matching with the theme and the behind-the-scenes look of today’s blog post. I’m just saying: Word! Because my break with coffee, books and co. is exactly this: unfiltered, free of constraints and raw. I have not found a German equivalent to raw yet … but you certainly know what is meant! So: if I hang the designer clothes in the closet, I’m not reachable by mobile phone and mail and I’m reading a book at home while sipping coffee, I take my little break. And usually very unstyled, because #coffeeneedsnodresscode.

In lovely cooperation with Nescafé Dolce Gusto.
