A few days ago I wrote the darkest, rawest, most honest text I’ve ever written. To me a true masterpiece. I really was about to post it right in the second after I’ve finished it — with no pictures, no crazy fonts. Just the text alone. Letting the words stand what they stand for. Do what they should do. But: I decided to not publish it for now. It might be too dark, too personal. Even though it’s my blog, my thoughts — it’s too raw. I didn’t mince matters.
It’s always the darkest time that inspires me the most, the worst feelings that let those pretty words flow out of my fingertips so easily. I’m not sure if everyone can feel me on that, especially when you’re not a writer. But writing is therapy, writing is healing. One of my favorite poets, Ndumi Dlamini, captured those feelings and thoughts pretty perfectly. The poem is called dark words. And I want to share it with you:
dark ink will illuminate
white paper
is it not ironic
vent pain, anger and hate
healing, calming and loving
medication to a disease chronic
treated with hate
abused belittled raped, writing
numbs better than gin and tonic
previously believed it was fate
he was destined to a life of misery
now flows words symphonic
a refuge for those who relate
an angel that used words
to escape experiences demonic
dark words will illuminate
white paper
is it not ironic
Ndumi Dlamini (3 Aug 2015)
Maybe one day I’ll publish the text I’ve written and I can add a little healing, a positive ending to it. So it feels less raw, less dark and more positive and hopeful. Who knows.
DIOR ABSTRACT
Sunnie goals! I hardly find things I fall in love with when I see them for the first time. It doesn’t happen really often, but when it happens, it’s real! I’ll show you my newest baby — my new Givenchy sweater (maybe you saw it in my InstaStories — @mr.andykeys) — real soon, but now it’s time to shine for: my Dior Abstract sunglasses! The silvering is really sick and I tried to capture it in the best way, but believe me, they look even more insane in reality! The square glasses, the different materials and my favorite colors — it’s love! If you want to shop them or find more sick designer sunglasses for a very good price, check out my new favorite online store for designer shades: Optical H!
I combined them with a simple black & white look! The white bomber jacket (which is super light) and those white jeans are currently my favorite basics! Combined with a simple black shirt and some black leather shoes it’s a very simple, but somehow elegant look — and the Dior Abstract shades just add the final touch to make it perfect! And: it’s kind of futuristic, isn’t it? I love a simple black and white look – it doesn’t have to be boring! Just add one really dope accessory and you’re done!

By the way, die Sonnenbrille ist einfach nur klasse!

You look really stylish, especially the sunglasses are super cool. You could be straight out of a boyband – and I mean it in a positive way 🙂
